Today we continued with the rock cycle. We looked at how Igneous rock can either cool quickly or slowly. If it cools quickly it is fine grained because the crystal that form the rock are not able to grow.  Of course if the Igneous rock cools off slowly it has time to grow crystals and this mean that the rock is course grained.  An example of this is the Columnar Basalt that forms by the Devils Tower.
