Today we work on what the what the Earths atmosphere is. We first started with the demonstration of air molecules in a bucket. We then had a quick visit with Bill Nye and his thoughts on Atmosphere. We learned that the blanket of gases that surround our Earth consist of mostly Nitrogen (78%) then Oxygen (21%) and other gases (1%). These percentages are an estimates because our atmosphere is always changing. We learned that our atmosphere came from the the rock and volcanic eruptions (See Bill Nye). We the discussed that the atmosphere humidity changes by the amount of water that is the air. We finally answered checkpoint question 1.1-1
1.1-1 How do the gases in the Earth;s air differ from place to place.
