Today we look at the lab we will be doing on Thursday.  The students were sent how today we a lab safety sheet that parents need to sign.    Please look for this from your student.   We then continued on with the different properties of matter.  We discussed Density and conductivity.  We started with the idea that sponge cake is less dense than pound cake and then we moved on and compared a foam ball and a bowling ball of the same size.  See the notes below for more information.

Several of my students also wanted a recipe for both sponge cake and pound cake.
