Today we worked with what different substances are. Those of you at home we are on Chapter 7 pp. 233-237.   We took the time to understand the difference between an element and a compound.  An element only contains the atoms of that particular element such as aluminum is an element that only has aluminum atoms. A compound contains 2 or more elements chemically bonded together such as CO2 and H2O and represented with a chemical formula.
