Today we read from the textbook pp. 541-543. We discussed both Wavelength and frequency. We then worked with wave speed through different materials and how to calculate wave speed. With this we learned that the symbol for wavelength is the Greek letter Lambda (λ).
We learned that wavelength is the distance from one point on a wave to the same point the the next wave. Here is a video to help with wavelength.
We learned that wave speed moves faster or slower depending on the medium (matter) it is traveling in.
