Today we continued on with our reading of lesson 1 of chapter 10 from the text book. We read from pp. 344-347. I will have the notes below. We noticed that as you look at the periodic table from left to right you will notice that certain characteristics have a tendency to repeat along the columns. We noted that the meting temperature of elements rises from left to right and then has a sharp drop. This happens at around the same column as you go from left to right on the rows.
Again, I cannot stress enough, our weekly log is due this Friday and we are answering these questions in class. I have the log updated and the answers to these questions come from the reading. So, if you are falling behind on answering the questions, you can log onto the online textbook and read from the text to get some of these questions answered.
