Today we continued with chapter 5 lesson 3. We are learning about energy resources. We focused on nonrenewable resource today and that the majority of these resources are fossil fuels. We know that fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas are renewable but this process takes millions of years, so to us as humans these resources are nonrenewable. We reviewed that fossil fuels store potential chemical energy in the chemical bonds. (You know the song) and that this energy first originated from the sun. (You know this song too.)
