Today we continued with the metals on the periodic table.  We learned about the physical properties of metals.

There are 5 that we started with

-Shiny - luster/can reflect light                -Ductility - pulled into a wire
-Conduct thermal energy                        -Malleability  - hammered into a sheet
-Conduct electricity                                                         

                                   STOP! Hammer time!

We then looked at the first two groups on the Periodic Table 

Group 1 - Alkali Metals  (Givers!!)  The Aretha Franklin group
